Formed in 2015, Redcar and East Cleveland-based Nicholas Postgate Academy Trust appointed Academy Creative to manage the launch of the new Trust. This would involve a new logo with brand guidelines as well as a website.
There was an in-depth briefing with key stakeholders to discuss ideas and preferences with regards to the branding. We then followed our branding process and presented to the Trust a number of options, discussing the reasoning behind each. Once approved, a comprehensive set of brand guidelines was produced, and an education session on how best to use the logo. Lisa Maron, Nicholas Postgate Academy Trust:
WE DIDN’T REALLY KNOW WHERE TO START IN TERMS OF THE BRAND. WE HAD A FEW IDEAS, WE WANTED TO INCLUDE THE CONNECTION WITH THE CATHOLIC FAITH WHILST ALSO SOME HOW REPRESENTING ALL OF THE ACADEMIES.
THE TEAM AT ACADEMY CREATIVE HIT THE BRIEF PERFECTLY. WE HAVE A PROFESSIONAL BRAND FOR OUR MULTI ACADEMY TRUST AND ARE DELIGHTED WITH THE SUPPORT WE RECEIVED.
Following this, Academy Creative have worked with all of the Academies within the trust on a range of marketing projects. This has varied from branding refreshes and websites for the four Primary Academies, to signage for all of the Academies.
